MPI Achieves AS9100 Aerospace Quality System Registration

Seymour, CT – Microboard Processing, Inc. (MPI), one of the most technically-advanced, privately-held electronics manufacturers in North America, today announced that its Connecticut manufacturing facility has achieved AS9100 registration, indicating that MPI's Quality Management System (QMS) complies with the strict standards established by the Society for Automotive Engineers (SAE) for organizations providing high-reliability products and programs to the Aerospace industry.

MPI's attainment of AS9100 comes within months of its ISO13485 Registration, which enables MPI to manufacture a broad range of medical devices on behalf of medical OEMs. In addition to being AS9100 and ISO13485 registered, MPI has been an ISO9000 registered company since 1994.

Craig Hoekenga, MPI's Founder and CEO, comments, "Our AS9100 registration along with other recent quality related initiatives represent strategically significant improvements that will increase our revenue, improve our product mix, and foster increases in our market share."
